Organizer Boot Camp: How to Build a Base and Move Into Action This intensive, three-month training moves through the core organizing concepts of power, self-interest, and one-to-one relational meetings, and teaches you how to make propositions, hold effective meetings and create a powerful team. Materials and sessions are in English and Spanish.

WASHINGTON, D.C.–People’s Action today issued the following statement from Executive Director Sulma Arias, congratulating incoming Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries on his historic position as Minority Leader in the 118th Congress.


“We congratulate Congressman Jeffries on his election to House Minority Leader and becoming the first Black leader of either party in Congress. We are also excited to have a member of the  Congressional Progressive Caucus  leading House Democrats. Congressman Jeffries has a strong record on civil rights and economic justice and we look forward to working together in the 118th Congress to advance an agenda grounded in equity and justice for all.”
