People’s Action Celebrates DREAMers Victory in Supreme Court DACA Case

WASHINGTON, D.C.–People’s Action Senior Strategist Mehrdad Azemun today released the following statement in response to the U.S. Supreme Court upholding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA):

“Today, the Supreme Court sided with undocumented and immigrant youth who fought tooth and nail against Trump’s white supremacist agenda, helping to save DACA and protect families from Trump’s deportation force. DACA is a popular program with bipartisan support, but Trump remains focused on deporting as many people as possible, and his administration still has the power to rescind DACA again. People’s Action stands with DACA recipients and the entire immigrant and undocumented community and will continue fighting for liberation for all immigrants.”
